Eldercare The Lodge at Wayville is seeking dedicated Hospitality Assistants.

We have permanent part time opportunities available.
As a Hospitality Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across all areas of our kitchen, cleaning and laundry departments. Such variety means you will have the opportunity to develop new skills and become trained in multiple areas.

- Permanent part time opportunities for cleaners and catering assistants
- A varied role that provides the opportunity to work across multiple departments
Shift times
Catering: 06:30 - 14:00 or 16:00 - 19:30
Cleaning 07:30 - 14:30 or 08:00 - 11:00 - some weekend shifts available
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Understanding of IDDSI standards
- Experience in aged care kitchen
- High quality customer service
- Ability to adapt to change
- Good communication skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of contemporary housekeeping/cleaning practices
- Professional presentation
- Flexibility with shifts (to cover team mates when they are sick or on leave)
- A current Food Handling Certificate is desirable

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
As per Eldercare’s Employee Immunisation Policy, all Eldercare employees are required to:
- Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year
- Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines
