About the role
- Ongoing permanent employment with 3 shifts per fortnight, with the opportunity in the future to pick up additional shifts
- Required to work Tuesdays, with flexibility around the other one day (weekdays) - we will consider half days to work around your commitments!
- Looking for the successful applicant to start mid March 2025
You will be responsible for
- Organising and conducting WHS inspections and site audits
- Collate incident and hazard reports, ensuring appropriate actions have been taken and documented
- Ensure major WHS Programs are implemented at site level
- Assist in the evaluation and risk assessment of new equipment
- Be responsible for delivering and coordinating WHS meetings
What you will bring to the role
- Experience not required, just a great attitude and willingness to learn!
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or related industry desirable but not essential

Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and manage workload effectively
- Sound understanding of risk management process
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
