About the role
This is a hands-on, heart-filled role supporting our aged care team with:

Laundry services—keeping things fresh, clean, and infection free

General cleaning across resident rooms, communal spaces, kitchens, and laundries
-
Helping with meal prep, beverage service, and kitchen duties
Every shift is an opportunity to make someone’s day better—with a clean room, a warm meal, or a caring conversation.
What you will bring

Some aged care or health care experience (a plus, but not a dealbreaker!)

A cheerful, can-do attitude and great communication skills

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
As per Eldercare’s Employee Immunisation Policy, all Eldercare employees are required to:
- Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year
- Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines
Exemptions on a temporary or permanent basis can only be approved by Eldercare’s Chief Executive.
