As a Hospitality Assistant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the quality of life for our residents through meaningful interaction and the serving of nourshing meals that support health, enjoyment and overall wellbeing.
About the role
- Located at our Mt Barker site
- Casual opportunities available in the catering team
- All applicants must be willing to work morning shifts (07:00 - 14:30) and afternoon shifts (14:30 - 19:30) weekdays & weekends
- Must be willing to be contactable to fill shifts at short notice
- Experience in hospitality/catering/food service/aged care preferred
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Good communication skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of contemporary housekeeping/cleaning practices
- Professional presentation
- Flexibility with shifts (to cover team mates when they are sick or on leave)
- A current Food Handling Certificate is desirable
- Previous work in Aged Care or healthcare would be looked upon favorably
