Join Eldercare as a Graphic Designer

Type: Full Time

Location: Eldercare Head Office, Eastwood

At Eldercare, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to older South Australians. As one of the state’s leading not-for-profit aged care providers, we foster a compassionate and inclusive work environment where every team member is valued.

By joining Eldercare, you'll become part of a team that prioritises integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. With a strong focus on learning and development, we’ll support you as you grow your career.

About the Role

As Eldercare’s Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality visual communications that support our organisation’s strategic goals. Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager and collaborating with teams across the business, you will design and refine a wide range of materials - from brochures and posters to digital assets, social media graphics, signage and more.

A significant part of your work will involve refreshing and updating existing materials, ensuring they remain current, on‑brand and aligned with evolving organisational needs. You’ll bring a thoughtful approach to interpreting briefs, elevating established designs, and maintaining consistency across all touchpoints.

This role is ideal for an early to mid-career designer who is ready to take ownership of projects, manage competing priorities, and contribute fresh ideas to a busy, supportive team. You’ll work with internal stakeholders at all levels, as well as external suppliers such as printers, ensuring smooth production processes and strong working relationships. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, values constructive collaboration, and takes pride in producing thoughtful, on‑brand work that supports Eldercare’s mission and the communities we serve.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience working as a graphic designer.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence presenting ideas.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative, detail‑focused and able to produce high‑quality work across print and digital formats.
  • Able to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities.
  • Keeps up to date with media and design trends.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design or Design (desirable).
